Surah Al-Baqarah : 11. And when it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "We are only peacemakers." 12. Verily! They are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not. 13. And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansâr and Al-Muhajirûn) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not. 14. And when they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe," but when they are alone with their Shayâtin (devils - polytheists, hypocrites, etc.), they say: "Truly, we are with you; verily, we were but mocking."
فَإِذَا أَمَرُوكَ فَحَدِّثْهُمْ وَهُمْ يَشْتَهُونَهُ فَانْظُرْ السَّجْعَ مِنْ الدُّعَاءِ فَاجْتَنِبْهُ فَإِنِّي عَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صلى الله عليه و سلم وَأَصْحَابَهُ لَا يَفْعَلُونَ إِلَّا ذَلِكَ يَعْنِي لَا يَفْعَلُونَ إِلَّا ذَلِكَ الِاجْتِنَابَ
اجتناب السجع في الدعاء عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ حَدِّثْ النَّاسَ كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ مَرَّةً فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَمَرَّتَيْنِ فَإِنْ أَكْثَرْتَ فَثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ وَلَا تُمِلَّ النَّاسَ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ وَلَا أُلْفِيَنَّكَ تَأْتِي الْقَوْمَ وَهُمْ فِي حَدِيثٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِمْ فَتَقُصُّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَتَقْطَعُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَدِيثَهُمْ فَتُمِلُّهُمْ وَلَكِنْ أَنْصِتْ فَإِذَا أَمَرُوكَ فَحَدِّثْهُمْ وَهُمْ يَشْتَهُون

Insiden Monas, Waspadai Adu-Domba Umat Islam!
Edisi 408]. Prihatin. Itulah rasa yang ada menyaksikan kondisi umat Islam saat ini. Rakyat tengah mengalami keterpurukan ekonomi akibat kenaikan harga bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Berbagai penolakan terus terjadi dimana-mana. Pada 1 Juni 2008 siang berlangsung demo penolakan kenaikan BBM di depan Istana Negara Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara yang diselenggarakan oleh Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) dan dihadiri oleh berbagai ormas. Sebagaimana dimuat berbagai media massa, acara tersebut berlangsung damai. Namun, pada saat yang hampir bersamaan terjadi ’Insiden Monas’, yaitu bentrokan antara Aliansi Kebangsaan untuk Kebebasan Beragama dan Berkeyakinan (AKKBB) dengan massa yang beratribut Front Pembela Islam (FPI) di Lapangan Silang Monas ke arah Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. Belakangan dibantah bahwa yang bentrok itu bukanlah FPI melainkan Komando Laskar Islam (KLI).

Tolak Kenaikan Harga BBM 2008!:Edisi 405]. Kenaikan harga BBM bukan lagi sekadar wacana. Sebagaimana diungkap banyak media, Pemerintah sudah pasti akan menaikkan harga BBM di dalam negeri sekitar akhir Mei atau awal Juni ini. Kebijakan ini jelas harus dipertanyakan. Kebijakan ini terasa tidak adil dan menyengsarakan rakyat. Jika carut-marut ekonomi lebih banyak ditimbulkan oleh kebijakan keliru Pemerintah, praktik korupsi serta ulah para bankir dan konglomerat hitam, mengapa rakyat banyak yang harus selalu menanggung akibatnya?
